2007-2008 PROGRAM===
"Journeys to American Identities" is the inaugural program series of the 2007-2008 year.
The theme explores what it means to be American and how Americans construct their identities,
individually and collaboratively, in the past and present.
This program addresses the historical background and current cultural contexts of three featured
"identities" prominent in our region: Hispanic American, Southeast Asian American and European American.
Invited performers, authors, and experts interact with the public to examine various processes and
experiences that shape our American identities, a "journey" that unites us all.
