Service-Learning Projects

The Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service partners with students in a variety of educational settings–secondary education and college classrooms, community-based agencies, leadership programs and more–to conceptualize, plan, and implement service-learning projects in the community. WIPPS also coordinates many service-learning projects across the UW Colleges network and works closely with not only its local campus, UW-Marathon County, but also other campuses to provide resources, coordination, and support for these projects. WIPPS also partners with Wisconsin Campus Compact to assist with service-learning efforts across the state. Academic service-learning projects range widely across the spectrum of college disciplines, and community-based service-learning projects are designed to meet real community needs.
